Athlete Biography
So- last english meeting with Mrs. Wiwin my lovely english teacher. Me and my friends ; Carissa and Chalisya, we had an assignment to make an athlete biograph! At first we're all in the same page, we say "What about matrial arts athlete from Fast & Furious? They are so cool and some of the actors are from Indonesia too!" ANDDDD At first we choose Yayan Ruhian! Since we know a video where Yayan Ruhian were showing his agility, AND HE'S SO FAST THAT HE CAN MAKE HIS OWN REAL LIFE SOUND EFFECT!! That's another level right there~
But, this photo says Joe Taslim though- Not Yayan Ruhian. YUP! CORRECT!! Turns out we found no Olympics Achievement from Yayan Ruhian in the internet. We only found his only achievement are being a Pencak Silat teacher and being in a community of matrial arts in other country. He teaches outsiders about Pencak Silat. Then he got invited to be an actor in Fast & Furious.
But yes true, a little bit problem there, where we think that we need an athlete who has achievement so the source is certain, that he is an athlete. SO~ We just choose the other actor from Fast & Furious! A very handsome man, with a nice humor taste, and also a professional matrial art athlete! JOE SALIM TASLIM!!
We did some research first, where actually we also kinda question him is he really an athlete or just an actor? Then why he plays as an actor and entertainment industry more? Turns out! He ever had an injury, so he decided to retire from his matrial art profession, and pursue his career in entertainment industry! AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW. HE'S NOT JUST ONLY MASTERED ONE SKILL OF MATRIAL ART, HE DID A LOT!!! He mastered wushu, judo, taekwondo, and pencak silat! WOW! WHAT A MASTER!! And by his multiple matrial art skills, he won several gold medals and silver medal!!!
